Confirmation

Confirmation is the sacrament in which the baptized are strengthened by the Holy Spirit in order to bear witness to Christ and prepare to take on the role of a disciple.

(About Baptism for Children, 2016 Faith Catholic, pg 12)

Typically, we celebrate our Confirmation in 11th grade. We have a faith formation class for 11th graders that teaches about – and prepares – students for Confirmation.

To learn more about this program, please see our Faith Formation page.

If you are past 11th grade and would like to be Confirmed, we have a separate program for you. To learn more about this program and next steps, please email or call the parish office at stjoedale@evdio.org or 812-937-2200.

We look forward to celebrating your Confirmation with you!
